I didn’t know I was laying a foundation.
Back then, I wasn’t trying to build a series.
Growth didn’t come from chasing more.
It came from staying longer, looking deeper.
From letting a place ask questions back.
From realizing that clarity means knowing where you’re standing now.
Simple Nothings captured what I was seeing, but not yet understanding.
